Working at the yarn store is very dangerous...yarn begs to be knit into something. New yarn from Blue Heron Yarns,
mercerized egyptian cotton, begged to be made into the Landscape Shawl by Fiber Trends. I wound the 1000 yards of melon colored
yarn and grabbed some #6 Addi Turbo lace needles and started. I have about 20 rows done (starts at the bottom so the
rows are short) and I'm loving the yarn. The colors are gorgeous and the lace needles have just the right grip.
Now all we have to do is remember to bring in a camera so we can show you my progress. Happy knitting
SARA

Mom just decided that she is going to make a shawl, out of Berroco's Zen that would be a perfect cover up for the pool
or beach. You can see the pattern and picture of it at http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/nicky/nicky.html We are going to be making up kits for it too. It should be a quick knit!
I am making Angelina from Black Purl designs,
you can see a picture of what the final product will look like at http://blackpurldesigns.com/_wsn/page2.html (scroll down to the very bottom to see the picture).
We did just get in some new yarn from Tili Thomas called, Voile
de la mer (it contains seacell) and comes in beautiful colors, stop in to see it.
Toni has also finished the Argosy
scarf that is going to be a class (July 8th), and it is gorgeous stop in to see that as well.
Have a Happy 4th!
